Celebrating Building Excellence Wednesday, 22 November 2006
Builders from across Australia were presented with prestigious National Awards for Excellence in Building at Master Builders National Awards dinner held at Parliament House, Canberra on Friday 10th November 2006.
Coral Homes nominated one of their homes for the Display Home of the Year up to $150,000. The Magnetic 223 on display at Bellbird Close Fletcher took out the Newcastle Regional Award, as well as the New South Wales State title. As a result, and with stiff competition amongst many prominent builders, Coral Homes was awarded “National Display Home of the Year up to $150,000”.
The judges in this competition were impressed with the quality and design of this display home and commented,” The home stood out for its’ consistently neat finishes, serviceability and superb value for money. The layout is practical and user friendly”.
Paul Sweeney, Managing Director of Coral Homes said ” After sixteen years in the construction business, we have won many awards, but receiving the award of “Best in Australia” is a real achievement for us”.
“For this award to be given to a volume builder, up against many smaller builders who can put special attention into their display homes, speaks volumes about the quality and workmanship of each and every home we build.”
Master Builders’ CEO Mr Wilhelm Harnisch, said “the awards recognize the significant contribution of the building and construct ion industry to Australia’s economy.”
“The winners have demonstrated excellence in innovation, finding solutions to the ever greater demands of clients and constantly increasing government regulations”, he said.
Founded by Paul and Viki Sweeney in 1990, Coral Homes has now grown to be the largest and most respected family owned home builder in Queensland and has recently been named in the Top 10 Builders in Australia.
Building from Hervey Bay to Sydney, the company has 35 homes on display in 23 locations along the eastern seaboard. Return to news archive |
